LEARNING WITH PAPER MOON!

ENSURING YOUR CHILD CAN LEARN AND DEVELOP BY BUILDING ON WHAT THEY ALREADY KNOW AND CAN DO

LEARNING IN A CARING ENVIRONMENT

We know children develop more rapidly during the first five years of their lives than at any other time. That’s why the foundation years are often referred to as the building blocks for life.

Children’s progress and development is facilitated by warm and focused interactions with staff who know the children well enough to be responsive and to scaffold learning.

DOWNLOAD OUR TEACHING AND LEARNING POLICY

In order to demonstrate that we offer effective support we record all achievements and carry out regular observations for each child, this allows us to monitor their progress and focus our planning to support the child’s development.

TAPESTRY

We use an online system called Tapestry. This system allows parents to view their child’s observational progress at a time that suits them. Parents can also contribute by adding special achievements from home e.g. first words or steps.
